Client Services Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers that work directly with women are required to complete comprehensive training classes and in-service trainings throughout the year.
Volunteer Client Advocate
Our Volunteer Client Advocates help equip women to make informed decisions about their unplanned pregnancies through listening to women’s circumstances and needs. Volunteers concentrate on the feelings surrounding a woman’s pregnancy and offer information and resources that will help her make a decision that respects both her life and the life of her unborn child.24-Hour Helpline Volunteer
The Alternatives Helpline is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week to receive calls from those with pregnancy-related needs. Helpline Volunteers answer phone calls at home—forwarded at night and on weekends—from the Alternatives office. Volunteers are available to be a bridge for callers who might be facing unintended pregnancy or struggling with post-abortion loss.Ultrasound Clinic Volunteer Sonographer
Alternatives’ medical volunteers perform limited ultrasounds for our clients. Our ultrasound offices are in Downtown Denver, Lakewood, Aurora and on our Mobile Testing Clinic. Please contact us if you have sonography experience plus any of the following credentials: MD, PA, NP, RN, RDMS.Post-Abortion Group Facilitator
Alternatives’ offers women hope and an opportunity to heal through the pain and loss of a past abortion. Through a fifteen week support group, trained volunteers facilitate the healing process.Support Services Volunteer Opportunities
General volunteers come alongside the staff of Alternatives by providing additional support for office, event and community education activities. Training is provided as needed per project.
