For 40 years, Alternatives has had a strong presence in the Denver downtown area. In 2006, we moved into a beautiful space at 1440 Blake Street thanks to a generous family who provided this incredible space. Our staff grew, our client numbers increased and we established a dynamic presence on the nearby Auraria Campus.
Now there is a new season in front of Alternatives. We are thrilled to announce our move to THE VIBE, a building located at 1391 N. Speer Blvd in Denver. This strategic location gives us even greater access to the three colleges on the Auraria Campus, easy access throughout the downtown area and convenient parking for our clients. This new clinic location is equipped to provide a full complement of our counseling, medical and educational services.
The goal for this event is to raise $150,000 to fund the needs of this clinic in 2022. Your generosity provides options consultations, ultrasound scans and STD testing to anyone who walks through our doors.
WHY IT MATTERS
Unplanned pregnancy is part of our shared humanity. We cannot ignore its existence. And, after 40 years of serving women and men facing a pregnancy decision, we are keenly aware that education, support, relationship and care provision are major empowerment factors in a person’s ability to continue a pregnancy and choose life for their child.
