Alternatives at The Bridge

Alternatives is opening a new clinic in Arvada at The Bridge!

Alternatives is pleased to announce that we will be opening a new clinic in December of 2024 at 8270 W. 80th Ave in Arvada, CO. At this new location called The Bridge, Alternatives will be joining a collaborative of caring agencies and organizations that offer critical resources to the communities of north Denver. At this new clinic, we will expand our free medical care, counseling and education to more people facing a life-altering pregnancy decision in this underserved area of Denver.  The Bridge is a one-stop location where people in need can access critical resources offered through a group of human services organizations.

Located adjacent to Revive Church in Arvada, Alternatives at The Bridge represents the culmination of a two-year process from the time leaders at the church invited Alternatives to see their vision for this project and be a part of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healthcare and saving lives in north Denver.

The new clinic will allow Alternatives to dramatically increase its reach. The population of Arvada and the surrounding communities within a 10-mile radius is nearly 450,000. This includes the cities of Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster, Broomfield, Wheat Ridge, Federal Heights, and Golden. Now, people in these areas will have easy access to pregnancy-related healthcare when they are in the complex time of a pregnancy decision.

Here are some of the highlights of the new clinic space design:

  • Three counseling rooms so multiple clients can be served at once. One room can be used for Momma Mentoring while a Fatherhood Mentoring session is going on, while the third could be used for post-abortion counseling. Or, a pregnancy test client can bring her partner and they can be served simultaneously while we are counseling an STD patient.
  • Two exam rooms so services such as ultrasounds and STD testing can be offered at the same time.
  • A dedicated nurse and sonographer station.
  • Additional room for Alternatives staff to work remotely or account for the future growth of the clinic.

The goal is to increase the amount of care, the depth of care, and the efficiency of care. People are facing life-altering, and in some cases, life-threatening, circumstances. The ability to meet the needs of women, men and the preborn quickly and comprehensively is critical.

From the time our staff welcomes people through the secure entrance into the privacy and safety of the clinic, they will feel seen, heard, and loved. They will know we are there to serve them, to stand with them, and to help guide them through the difficult circumstances and decisions they are facing.
