Client Services Volunteer
Client Services Volunteers are called to provide compassionate support, practical assistance, and a welcoming environment for clients seeking services at Alternatives. By building positive relationships with clients, you become an important part of their journey by offering encouragement, education, and compassionate care while reflecting the mission and values of our organization. We ask that you be dependable, teachable, and willing to serve with empathy and professionalism. Client Services Volunteers assist with a variety of client-facing activities, helping ensure each client feels valued, respected, and cared for. Volunteers can serve on a regular or flexible schedule and work alongside staff to support the daily needs of the ministry and the clients we serve.
Mentoring
Alternatives mentors are called to support, inspire and teach new and established parents. By building a close relationship you become part of a supportive community through practical assistance, prayer and guidance. We ask that you be teachable and possess a willingness to grow along with your mentee. Mentors meet twice per month with their mentees. Often, a mentor may have more than one mentee at the same time.
