Eligibility
Alternatives offers employees regularly scheduled to work 24 hours a week or more a comprehensive health insurance package, including PPO medical and dental. These benefits start the first day of the month after 60 days of employment.

Medical
We offer a choice of plans to our employees. These include Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and HSA.

Dental
We offer a Cigna dental plan with a $1200 annual benefit per person.

Paid Time Off
Employees who are regularly scheduled 16 hours a week or more begin earning PTO at the start of employment and may use it at any time.

Paid Holidays
Alternatives designates nine paid holidays throughout the year.

Prayer & Wellness Day
We offer employees one paid day a year to spend time out of the office in prayer and reflection.

Retirement
Alternatives offers employees a Roth Individual Retirement Account (IRA) through Colorado Secure Savings.

Mileage Reimbursement
Employees may receive reimbursement for all parking and work-related transportation beyond their daily drive.

Clinical Supervision
Offered on a group and individual basis to Client Services staff and medical professionals by a Licensed Professional Counselor. For Directors of Client Services seeking counseling licensure, these hours go toward state requirements.

Colorado Christian University

HERE ARE THE CURRENT OPENINGS ON OUR TEAM:

Position Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Pay range: $ 23-26 per hour

Job will be posted until filled.

Position Summary: Provides options consultation to clients of Alternatives Pregnancy Center. Supervises, evaluates and encourages the Client Services Associate (CSA). Provides direction to interns, and in-office volunteers. Direct and oversee the services provided to clients. Monitors and oversee client record keeping and statistics. Part of a larger client services team.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in related field including Psychology or Social Work.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in counseling or social work.
  • Experience with vulnerable population and/or crisis counseling.
  • Ability to speak Spanish.

Position Classification:  Part-Time, Non-Exempt, 20 hours per week, $21 – $23 per hour, Benefits Included

Position Summary: This enthusiastic person will join a team of passionate individuals to create and implement a strategic outreach program to local universities and colleges. Through education and relationship building, this person promotes awareness of Alternatives programs and services. 

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Community-focused work or internship experience. 
  • Experience in community relations, public speaking and campus life. 
  • A well-versed understanding of current and emerging social issues on campus related to unintended pregnancy, sexual health and abortion. 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree. 
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) speaking candidates are a priority. 

Position Classification: In-Person, Part-Time, Non-Exempt, 16 – 20 hours per week, $21-23 per hour

Position Summary: Oversees the strategic development and implementation of content across all social media platforms.

Education/Experience Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in internet marketing, journalism, public relations, communications or applicable area of study.  
  • 1-2 years of experience in managing social media platforms.  
  • Experience with brand and graphic standards. 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and similar creative software. 
  • Experience in executing a strategic social media plan. 

Preferred: 

  • Familiarity with Alternatives social media pages and presence 
  • Experience with photography, videography and video-editing. 

 

Position Classification: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, $21.50-23.50 per hour, 24 – 28 hours per week

Position Summary: Provides leadership, support, education, and resources to male volunteers as they serve male clients impacted by their partners’ unplanned pregnancies. Trained as a male client advocate to provide direct male client support and possible parenting support – all in a faith-based environment.

Education/Experience Requirements: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field, including counseling, psychology, social work, human services, pastoral ministry, theology, biblical studies, leadership, or youth services. 
  • Vocational or volunteer experience in church or parachurch ministries. 
  • Experience with vulnerable populations and/or crisis counseling. 

Preferred: 

  • Master’s degree in a related field, including theology, biblical studies, divinity, business, leadership, psychology/counseling, or social work. 
  • Ability to speak Spanish fluently.
