Originally from MN, I moved to CO in 2017 to pursue my Master of Divinity. As I was driving cross country, Alternatives called and offered me a temporary position with A Promising Future as an instructor. This year long position opened my eyes to the mission, value and heart of what Alternatives Pregnancy Center does daily. After the year ended, I promised that if I ever had a chance to work for them again, I would. Five years later, I stepped into the role of Church Development Coordinator.
Previously, I worked with youth and young adults in various settings. I’ve led high and low ropes courses, planned and implemented retreats of over 500 people, led wilderness camps, overseen and planned openings for an art gallery, as well as spoken for various group sizes and settings. In all that I do, my heart is to help others grow in their understanding of God’s word and His heart for them. I look forward to being a part of the impact Alternatives has on women, men and teens in the Denver metro area.
In my off time, I can be found doing a wide array of activities. I love to read, write and paint. I also enjoy music, dance and anything in the great outdoors. My husband and I got married a little over a year ago, and we love trying different coffee shops, playing games, and hanging out with friends.
I look forward to this next season serving with Alternatives and all that the Lord is doing through them.
