Wednesday, December 4 was the opening day for the new Alternatives clinic in Arvada, Colorado! It is an honor to bring life-affirming care to north Denver, an area that has been underserved.
The new Alternatives clinic is located adjacent to Revive Church at W. 80th Ave. and Wadsworth Blvd. in a renovated former shopping area now called The Bridge.
This is an incredible opportunity for Alternatives to be available to approximately 450,000 people in Arvada and the surrounding communities of Golden, Wheat Ridge, Thornton, Northglenn, Thornton, Broomfield, and Federal Heights. People in these areas now have easy access to the free medical care, counseling, and education services that Alternatives offers.
The Alternatives clinic features two exam rooms so multiple clients can be offered services such as ultrasounds and STD testing at the same time.
In addition, there are three counseling rooms. One room can be used for Momma Mentoring at the same time a Fatherhood Mentoring session is going on, while the third room could be used for Counseling After Abortion.
There is also a dedicated station for our nurses and sonographers, along with a workspace for staff and, if needed in the future, there is dedicated space to account for the growth of the clinic.
As is the case with every Alternatives clinic, our goal is to increase the amount of care, the depth of care, and the efficiency of care. People are facing life-altering, and in some cases, life-threatening, circumstances. The ability to meet those needs quickly and comprehensively is critical.
Several years ago, Revive Church reduced its physical footprint to increase its impact in the community and desired Alternatives to be one of the ways to do that. The new Alternatives clinic is in The Wellness Center at The Bridge, along with several other providers.
The mission of The Bridge is to create a platform of purpose-fille organizations serving vulnerable and motivated individuals/families in a convenient and inviting location. The vision is to foster the peace and prosperity of the north Denver metro area.
Opening the Arvada clinic is an incredible way to close out 2024 and welcome in 2025. We are honored that the Lord would use us in a way that makes a greater impact on His kingdom.
