To remove the barriers for clients who are unable to get to one of our office locations, Alternatives is excited to announce that we offer telecounseling services! Telecounseling will provide Options Counseling and Counseling After Abortion services to support teens, women and men in our community. We know that individuals often feel overwhelmed. Mental and emotional health is at risk and connecting to support is critical and time-sensitive.
With this new process, we can continue to serve clients in a sacred private space while listening to their circumstances, building relationships, providing hope, encouragement and supportive resources. The virtual platform will provide confidential and HIPAA-compliant counseling. Telecounseling will give our counselors an additional opportunity to connect with clients and patients who might feel more comfortable receiving counseling via an online platform.
