Hi. My name is Juan Lopez. I joined the Alternatives team as Program Director for A Promising Future. Prior to Alternatives Pregnancy Center, I was a U.S. and World History Secondary Teacher in Denver. I also coached high school cross country and track. I have over twenty years of experience working with youth and emerging adults in a variety of areas. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management through Colorado Christian University. I am currently in the process of completing my Master of Divinity degree through Gateway Seminary.

I am a husband to my wife and best friend of 24 years. I am a father to three young adults (two daughters and one son), a father-in-law to my son-in-law, and a grandpa to our seven-week-old grandson. I am excited about this new position with A Promising Future and eager to put my experience, knowledge, and understanding toward the vision of Alternatives. Our youth and emerging adults are looking for stability, clarity, and security as they grow into becoming adults, and it is my goal to help them develop the necessary skills and attitudes to thrive as they enter adulthood.
