Job Openings and Volunteer Opportunities

As a Lifeline Advocate, you are an important ambassador for Alternatives and we are so grateful! We are currently looking for people who are passionate about life, want to work in a faith-based environment and have a desire to help teens, women and men thrive. If this describes you or someone you know, please help us spread the word about the staff and volunteer openings below. In all positions, it is a plus if someone has Spanish-speaking skills.

Staff Openings:

  • Appointment Scheduler – Answer calls and schedule appointments through an online platform across all clinic locations. (part-time)
  • Community Navigator – Provide needed case management to clients and patients. (part-time)
  • Community Liaison and Instructor –Teach life skills to high school and middle school students and promote the resources of A Promising Future to school and community partners. (part-time)
  • Communications Associate – Apply your marketing skills to the creation, organization and execution of Alternatives strategic communications plan. (full-time)
  • Director of Client Services – Provide counseling to clients and direct oversight of all client-related services. (full-time)
  • Client Services Associate – Give outstanding support, education and resources to clients and patients impacted by unplanned pregnancy and/or compromised sexual health. (part-time)

Volunteer Positions:

  • Co-Medical Director – Works with existing Medical Director to ensure all clinic staff and medical teams are providing appropriate care to the patients and maintaining professional standards of care.
  • 24-Hour Helpline – Listen and assist callers with information about our services after office hours and on weekends.
  • Momma Mentor – Walk with a mom as she enters the journey of motherhood.
  • Sonographer – Perform ultrasound scans on pregnant women to determine gestational age, viability and location of the pregnancy. MD, RDMS, NP, RN or DO required.
  • Community Engagement–Host interactive, information tables at resource fairs and churches throughout the city.
  • Food Services – Come alongside the Volunteer Development Manager to provide meals and set up/clean up at training events.
  • Instructor Aide – Support A Promising Future staff in high school and middle school classrooms.
